Bleechy
Hi, I found my pleco stuck in the filter inlet (Juwel Bioflow) must have been there overnight. On turning off the filter he swum down normally but he has an injury under his lower eye. When he's breathing you can see the skin coming in and out just below the eye (not a large piece, just like his bristles). I always use aquarium salt and RO water (20% change weekly), would you recommend adding melafix or another treatment (or even a hospital tank) or just wait and see if he heals? The tank only had community fish so I'm not worried about him being bullied. Thanks
Bleechy
He died just a few hours after this post, I didn't intervene. Pictures show that the injury must have affected his Gill functions.
