ProtoDAda
Hello, Recently, I saw all these white streaking marks on my aquarium window and last night, I saw first of one of these snails. I caught 5 so far. They are about 1/4” long and looks black (dark dark brown?), body and shell. I tried to take pictures as clearly as I can. They must hitchhiked on plants or moss when they were tiny or eggs. I also cleaned bunch of white dots which must be their eggs. Oh boy. Let me know if you know what it is and if I should be worried about them like they are the devil snails. : ) Thank you! xXInkedPhoenixX
Appear to be bladder snail. Once they're in your tank near impossible to get rid of. They aren't detrimental unless you're a chronic overfeeder. They are actually excellent tank keepers. I used to not want them in my tanks now I embrace them. I do keep a couple of my tanks without them but mostly because they would compete for food against my bottom feeders. 1

Oh, I only had a Betta and fed like 5 pellets, etc. then I added some amber tetras for him to be entertained… maybe that’s when the snails start growing/sprouting since there were more left over food when I feed the tetras. Did they leave white streaking marks, etc. on your glass too? They don’t bother me other than that.
xXInkedPhoenixX
They eat algae and such but they do love fish food too. 😋 I don't notice white streaks unless it's on a dry surface or they're making a trail in algae

Whatever in my tank left white slimy streaky marks like Ghostbuster’s ectoplasm. Since I removed some of them, there are less and less white streaks. : )
