Shrimpee
Im thinking about getting a Finnex Planted ALC for my 20 gal long as my other light could look and be better with one. How would I keep it from getting water damage without a lid? The tank is a 20 gal long. Would covering it with plastic wrap work or do I have to do something else? Tommy Vercetti
Maybe you could hang the light? That's what I do with my Chihiros lights.

Patrick_G
Finnex lights are marketed to be highly water resistant. I wouldn’t want to drop it in the tank but it should be ok in an uncovered tank. Otherwise I’d check Etsy for some risers. There are several folks selling nice looking 3D printed ones.
