reefhugger
Two of my rainbow fish have problems I need help with. One has a swollen and reddened eye on one side, the other has a protruding lump on one side. These injuries/sicknesses ( I don't know which) appeared or were noticed at the same time. I did a 50% water change and added aquarium salt to the entire tank at a 1T per 3 gallons ratio with worry its something that can infect everyone else. I raised water temp to 78 from 74, I've now got pictures to show. Pretty much freaking out here. Water parameters: Am-0 Nitrates 25 Ph 7.2 Hardness
Colu
Looks like a bacterial infection I would do is treat with a broad spectrum antibiotic treatment such as kanaplex or maracyn2 and up the aquarium salt if you can to 1 table spoon for 2 gallons add an extra air stone during treatment as medication lowers the level of desloved oxygen in your tank @reefhugger
