How to recover a fish tank after disease?

My fish had finrot and popeye.  I treated with salt and maracyn, he passed away this morning.   I was just wondering what I need to do in order to get the tank safe again.   Do I need 100% water change and do another cycle?  Etc.

I would just leave the tank running without fish for a minimum of 4 weeks as most pathogens and parasites can't survive without a host for more than 4 weeks you could ghost feed during that time to provide an ammonia source for your benefial bacterial or you could add a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution and leave the filters running after 24hr it will break down into H20 and oxygen to sterilise your tank  you will have to recycle your tank  with this method
