PeggyAndAl
Hello! I did water change and suddenly the day after there are these white spots and streaks on the bottom inside of the acrylic fish tank (maybe snails-I never had them, so I don’t know if it’s what they leave behind)? Tank is about 6 months old and it has some ember tetras, one betta and Amano shrimps. All the parameters are good, I do weekly water change, didn’t add any new plants, etc. only thing is I did add some FritzZyme 7 when I did water change. When I wipe them, it comes back the day after, always towards the bottom of the fish tank. Thank you for any information and advices you can give me… I am new to fish tank. Have a great day! Lennie
Can be detrius worms, planaria or leeches(seems less likely) If you can a close up video can be nice as it is hard to tell exactly without seeing a close up video and the way they move

I tried to upload videos but it said the file is not supported (which I video taped with iphone) but I think you might be right-detritus worms. Do you think it’s possible they came from the new bottle of FritzZyme 7? I didn’t have these with old bottle of FritzZyme which I cycled the tank with 6 months ago. Always something new with fish tank-exciting! LOL : )

I don't think it is possible really. They probably just came with plants or something if they are worms. So they don't move at all? that's weird. Maybe not worms/planaria/leech then idk. @Biotope Biologist
Darax
Those look like the little worms that crawl out of my substrate when O2 is low or something else is making the water hard to live in.
