NanotankBank
Hello, I’ve recently setup a neocaridina shrimp breeding tub. Just used a plastic Al “food-safe” tub I got from Wal-mart. Have a sponge filter and Java moss with a few rocks containing anubias glued to them. What I was wondering is if a substrate is needed? I plan on this being a breeding tub for blue dreams and I’d rather keep it as cheap as possible, but I want to know if a substrate is actually needed or not

Here's a video to check out that might be interesting for you! Here's another one as well with a bit more robust setup.
