Would a blue phantom pleco be too much for my 90 gallon severum tank

I am currently Cycling an 90 gallon aquarium for a severum centerpiece fish aquarium. I also was thinking of doing 6 geophagus tapajos red with them and maybe a school of bosmani rainbow. However I feel love with the blue phantom pleco when I saw for tank mates recommended for severums. Would a blue phantom ple be too much for stock with the rest of the fish I mentioned or would it be fine? Plz and thank for the responses

I’m sure others will chime in as well, but my 1st question that comes to mind is, what type of filtration are you running?

With adequate filtration and good maintenance, then yes, a blue phantom pleco would be fine.

I also agree here. These blue phantoms don’t grow super fast and compared to others don’t get terribly large.

Awesome and thank you for the responses.will be running an scheme tidal 110 and currently at used sponge filter from another to kick off the cycle. However I am looking into getting an second on the back if needed. Will that be enough filtration?

More than enough filtration. You could run the 90 on 2 sponge filters and be fine
