What kind d of algae is this and what can I do to minimize it?

This just hasn’t resolved on its own.  It’s like ash but I don’t know how or where it came from.  How can I get rid of it?

Have you tried removing it manually? Does it come back after removing?

I've never seen algae like this.

That’s white tuff stuff is basically rotifers and water mold.

Basically you have too much dissolved organics. I probably would clean it up manually, increase filtration. Might be feeding too much, the extra food is fueling the white tuff growth
