Theplatymaster Posted March 14 Share Posted March 14 @Cinnebuns i dont see why it would be an issue, apart from breeding. they are both small peaceful gouramis, they should get along fine. however breeding wise they are different genuses so they shouldnt crossbreed. i dont think i understand the question here. the honey gouramis MIGHT outcompete the sparkling gouramis for food being less shy, but thats an easy fix. The question mainly is because the sparkling are a trio and can get aggressive when spawning. This is more of an issue for other gourami than other fish in general when they do.
