Miska
Someone is letting go of one for 25 bucks but it needs everything to go with it What do I need to buy? Is this a deal? Help?
Guppysnail
This is NOT a deal. I run 8 of the 07 series canisters. Replacement parts are not cheap. For what you will need which is all sold separately you will pay much more than buying one new. If at least gaskets and I take/ outflows were included I might consider it. You also do not know how this was treated and maintenances. I HIGHLY recommend the 07 series I love mine. I would pass on this completely.

I want something nice for the 20 because I am going to be using it to breed endlers.
Guppysnail
with just these you are at 100$. That’s if the interior cover and flapper are with the canister. And now you are saving only 25$ for something that might be on its last leg motor wise. Fluval also gives a 5 year warranty you miss out on. Miska
Thank you! I noticed the Marineland Magniflow 160 gph Canister Filter is on sale at Petco for 50 bucks. Would you consider that a reasonable competitor for the price? I really like the fluval. But I am trying to be frugal.

I never looked at any others I loved it so much. I can’t make an honest comparison. I can tell you I can clean and reassemble and have it running in 10-15 minutes.
