knee
I do not like seeing algae (I HATE staghorn) in my tanks like most people but there is one that I really like. I’m not sure what this one is called, it kinda looks like BBA but green and it reminds me of the marimo moss ball. The texture isn’t stiff and hard like the GHA that I’m used to - I also have this kind growing in my tank but they can be removed easily. I really like this and was wondering if there’s anyway I can grow only this type algae only. 1
Tommy Vercetti
my favorite algae is Dead Algae! Kidding aside, I have seen unbelievably beautiful sheets of black beard algae in photos and videos
JoeQ
I'm not sure what kind that is but I absolutely love it! I have no issues with algae in general; As long as it stays off my plants its a welcome addition in my tank
Torbay
Goldfish keepers intentionally grow green carpet algae. If you Google it or look it up on YouTube, it is absolutely gorgeous!

I think that one is just ugly to look at 😅

Odd Duck
I had some Marimo algae transfer onto a piece of wood once and it was beautiful - velvety, deep green. It didn’t last after I moved that piece to another tank, but I wish it had. I also don’t mind hair algae as long as somebody is tending it so it doesn’t get to long and stringy looking. 1
knee
It’s also growing in my other tank. This is one aquasoil grain and it grew around it 😂 Kinda reminds me of fissidens moss 2
nabokovfan87
brown and green diatoms I basically ignore without doing anything about them. Everything else... EH. I just rather figure out what's wrong and fix it.
