Tanked
I was surprised that 1 week of neglect was enough to kill the thyme, basil and mint in the basement. The tomatoes and peppers survived as did the one plant that I don't want. Perilla frutescens var. crispa . Two years ago I found 1 small purple plant in a load of fill dirt. My neighbors now share my good luck. When the warm weather returns I will be pulling it out daily like Duckweed. Perilla, goes by many names such as Chinese/Korean Basil Has anybody ever used it as an herb? How do You use it?

I've read that it is a popular menu item in Asia, but so are my Tin Foil Barbs!👎👎👎
