abstractpro
It's not from me, because of the age, but it looks curiously like some of the fish I let go to a local pet shop in my area.
anewbie
My first guess is a female alibino (since it has red eyes) bn pleco. females have no bristles; male have well a lot. Edited February 25 by anewbie
Lennie
They take time to start growing bristles, and females mostly grow really tiny ones, if any. Let the little guy enjoy the its time! What's the hurry ;D It is looking super cute 🙂
Hawyun
Lennie, Thanks and there is no hurry I enjoy them being little and see them get used to the new tank. funny how fast they acually grow I have a few zebra loaches and all of a sudden they doubled in size. Have a great day and thanks for the reply On 2/25/2023 at 1:23 PM, abstractpro said: Are you in the Puget sound area of Washington State? We are in so. cal riverside area. Odd Duck
Looks like an immature male albino bristlenose. There’s a red patch starting at the back of the head that usually is fairly reliable indicating male. You’ll probably start to see some bristles growing in another 2-3 months - hard to tell with only the gravel to judge size.
Biotope Biologist
My mushu was about that size when I bought him from Cory. Became full grown in about 5 months. I miss him. Hopefully still living his best life in a 250 gallon… I agree with others young male, very young judging by the platies in the background Edited February 26 by Biotope Biologist

abstractpro
By this picture, it looks to be about an inch and a half long. If it is a male, it wont be showing bristles until well over two inches.
