Where to find importer?

Hi ya'll. I came across my grail fish available through a facebook post but the only problem is it's in India right now. Was wondering if anyone knows how to find an aquarium fish importer to the USA, specifically importing from India. I imagine not all importers work with smaller, individual orders, but that's what I'd be looking for. Or maybe they do if they're bunching many orders from their exporting counterpart.. idk... Anyways, I'm in the Seattle area if that matters. Thanks in advance.

What I've done is ask my LFS if they can get a specific fish. They usually have access to more fish but they would only get the ones that sell well in their store (one of the owners told me this). 

I've also done the trans shipper route when I bought bettas from thailand and indonesia. Maybe check out if there are trans shippers in india or check if the trans shippers that could also get fish from india.

@billango  I agree with @knee, I’d head to the wet spot and see what they can do for you.

Have you asked the person in India if they have shipped to the US before? they may know a transhipper that can import the fish for you. I know when I've been looking for fish on Aquabid before there have been fish overseas and the ad will have a few transhippers that they use to import.
