USB nano air pump question

Simple question. I just received my nano air pump. The outlet brick, for lack of a better name, has two usb female ports. A red and a blue. What are the functions of each? Or are they the same just different colors?

Thanks for the info! I “tested” both and there didn’t seem to be a difference but I have nothing to measure it. 
 

Anyone who uses one have advice on optimizing it’s placement? Pump height outside the tank, air stone depth etc? I’m using it for just an air stone in a 20gal.
