Waterlife
My Aquarium Co op 50watt heater electrically shocks me when I put my finger in the water, but I only feel it in a fresh wound etc, like I bit my nail off and then put my finger in. But anywhere skin is not open I’m fine. The guppies seem fine. The only source of electricity is the heater. This is the second heater to do this to me. Any ideas if fish are in danger or house going to burn down?

Dtolb15
Seen Cory answer this in a video a few days ago, but I couldn’t tell you what video it was as I listen to the Co-Op nearly all day at work. Basically any stray current can be eventually be detrimental to the fish and possible lead to other diseases. Contact customer service.. they always take care of us!!!
