TheSwissAquarist
I tried to ID a plant by putting a picture of it in my tank through Google, and look what came up! 🤣🤦♂️ 1
Katherine
Maybe try a closer photo of just the plant you're trying to ID so it has less to get wrong.
ccc24
Yep. That’s totally it. Why are you doubting the great google? 🤪
nabokovfan87
To be fair. That texture is similar to their algae photo. Its not a great (as in perfect) resource, but it just said "yep that's similar". Try from the top down maybe. The angle is a bit difficult to get a good shot for the robot hivemind to do their thing. That back leaf has a better angle if you can get a good shot.
Tanked
You're lucky you didn't get carpet swatches (samples). I did. You might try a larger sample.
jwcarlson
Some of you have never tried programming pattern/image recognition algorithms from scratch and it shows. 😄 To be fair, I haven't done it for 15 years for my senior project... but it wasn't easy at the time so give Google a break, OK!? They tried their best. 😆
