BAT
Everytime I clean my cannister filter it seems to drip for a bit. It isn’t a lot of water. Just very small drips that make a puddle under the cannister. One time I was overzealous with the polyfil and I took it out. This time I didn’t think I used to much. Any thoughts? Val
I have only ever used Filstars, so not a lot of experience, but it's either leaking, however slowly, or else there is somewhere in the motor housing that water collects. My Filstar collects water in the housing, and it leaks when I take off the top, but never when I have reconnected it. What filter are you using? nabokovfan87
Which filter? Is the o-ring in place and lubricated? Can you tell where it's dripping from? Place the canister in a container or get one of those under sink rubber protectors.
ccc24
Which filter? I’ve got a particular “closing” protocol for my cannister filters to keep them from doing this. But how that protocol works is going to depend on your exact make and model.
