TheMilkman
So i have a male and female kribensis moliwe in my tank and the male will not stop attacking the female. Every time he sees her he chases her away from his cave until she hides as well as not letting her eat. Is this normal krib behavior or no? Devon
I just picked up my first pair of Kribs a couple of weeks ago, mine are doing the same thing. He chases every time he sees her and scares her off the food as well.
AllFishNoBrakes
When I had my Kribs I bought a group of 5 and let them pair off. I then kept that pair and moved the others. Had the Kribs for a while, but they spawned way too much and I flooded the market and was stuck with those guys forever lol
Flumpweesel
My female wouldn't let the male out of the cave to feed. She killed two male and one female krib, one female cory and (mistake on my part) one female apisto. She is now in a tank with some mollies which so far seem immune to her bullying. They are pretty fish but lot of attitude.

This seems normal. Are they both mature ? It is best to have them in a large aquarium until they pair; once they pair things will be much more mellow between them but as for other fishes in the aquarium - avoid anything that stays near the bottom for best luck 😉 Edited February 5, 2023 by anewbie

Mine took 3 weeks of fighting before they decided to pair up. I had them i a 40; but once they paired up they were rock solid and worked well together to raise their kids.
