tolstoy21
These fish have been reluctant breeders for me, but I was finally able to get them to spawn. Not 100% sure if this was due to some changes to their environment that were taken by me, or if it was just time for it to happen independent of human intervention. One thing I love about apistogramma mothers is that they will confront me head on when they are defending fry. They will come right up to the glass if I'm getting too close and flare out their fins and make an angry 'mama bear' display. They have absolutely no fear! You can see a little bit of this at the end of this video. Edited January 13 by tolstoy21 4
