Snail ID

yep, ramshorn. Leopard patterning - some have it some don't, it's genetic. But it fades with age so snails that are 'leopard' patterned when young will lose this appearance as they age (still there, just harder to see).

If you really want him/her to survive you can put it in a betta cup or similar with some tank water. Any small container will do but if not, then another meal for the assassins 😋

I'm pretty sure having a spare container laying around just to save a snail will be strongly voted down and the ensuing mockery will eventually become unbearable..... I'll chalk the loss up to the circle of life, one snails loss is another snails gain! 🤣

I think there are enough snail partisans here of all places that you'd find lots of support for your Snailbnb. It shouldn't be too hard to do, either, if that's the way you want to go.
