TOtrees
Scuba diving in Indonesia!! In march 2022 I was lucky enough to go to playa del carmen in mexico's yucatan. We did one of the popular Cenotes excursions (caves/holes with pools of water), and I was blown away by all the fish. There were mollies and other livebearers, catfish, and when we got to a bigger sunnier pool boatloads of large colorful cichlids. I wasn't expecting them going in, so it was a total surprise/bonus! I've done that too. It's amazing how many fish there are.

Patrick_G
I've been to Kerela and it's amazing. I'm not sure there's any aquarium fish related tourism but water and aquatic life are everywhere. I'd eventually love to go to the Pacific Atolls And also Bonito in Brasil Edited January 3, 2023 by Patrick_G

PineSong
I'm notably less adventurous than most of you! Deep water and large fish creep me out, so I have to keep it pretty tame. My first thought was the Ocean Aquarium store in San Francisco that Cory has featured in some videos. I just love the higgledy-piggledy old-school vibe of it. And while I was in San Fran I could visit the Marine Mammal Center and lots of other places, too. It's on my list!

Tanked
The nearest warm water to any of my vacation spots was the hot tub. I really would like to have a fresh and saltwater scuba experience. @PineSongHad Ocean Aquarium existed 10 years earlier, it would definitely have been on my agenda while exploring SF. I probably walked past it's future location. On 1/5/2023 at 9:35 PM, lefty o said: its all fun and games until the sea snakes come out. Saw a photo years back of people snorkeling, equipped with hedge shears, just in case. I'll pass.
