Rita
I have one tank that consistently has these tiny bubbles floating around… any clue as to what they are and why I don’t have them in any other tanks? I do not run C02 and as you can tell the main plants in there is water wisteria and salvinia floaters. I only run a sponge filter and dose easy green and flourish advance twice weekly. This is the same regimen as my other tanks that do not have these bubbles.
Biotope Biologist
Most likely oxygen or CO2 plants respire and occasionally pearl with various waste gases. My algaes do this occasionally in the morning when the sun first hits the tank. Quite beautiful, completely harmless.

It doesn’t seem to upset the fish much but it makes the water look cloudy since the bubbles are very fine and just float about in the current.
