@josh world If what @Cory mentions doesn't work you could potentially try a different make/model/brand of check valve. The whistling is coming from a harmonic of the flow across the valve diaphragms. This is exactly how we talk, so a different valve with different 'build specs' should be different enough to fix the problem.

Also try adding air stones with valves to the system. The air stones and valves will essentially reduce the flow rate due to the back pressure, the lower flow is another parameter which affects the whistle.
