Iris
This is my 1 year old EB Accra. In a 55 gal with 1 other EBA and smaller tetra and one Angel. These Accra are same gender and Iāve never seen any aggression between them. When I walk up to or pass the tank one of these two take off and does collide with things in the tank including sponge filter, airstone, driftwood, seriyu stone.so plenty of things that could produce a scrape. Ā Doesnāt appear to be raised. Could this simply be an injury. I havenāt added any fish in 4 or 5 months and those two were flying fox & had been qaurentined prior, no longer in this tank.( needed them in another tank for bba removal) Parameters ph 6.6 ammonia 0 nitrate 0 nitrites 0 Ā Ā Ā Ā temp 78. Water changes every 2weeks. Light Gravel vac once a month Edited December 16, 2022 by Iris

Hally M.
Itās hard to tell but it looks like an upraised scale. I wouldnāt say anything to worry about. When I had my electric blue Acaraās every now and than one would get something like that on their face. Just happens sometimes. If itās fuzzy looking or like a bump than thatās a different story. Does it look like a scale? Is it rounded and somewhat translucent?Ā
Iris
Definitely not raised and grayish not fuzzy at all the shape hasnāt changed in four days Ā it could be a scale
Stroy15
Injury, rather than an upraised scale it is a missing scale, possibly because it bumped into something. I should heal up which may take a little time. I recommend some API melafix or Kordon fish protector, to reduce the possibility of infection, a stronger dose of stress relief can also create a stronger synthetic slime coat which can reduce infection. I don't know enough about this fish are they territorial fish? It is still possible that they will stress each other out even if they don't possess a real ability to hurt each other.
