Tidal 75 surface skimmer

So this morning I found a poor red cherry shrimp stuck with it’s tail in the skimmer section of my Tidal 75. So I rigged up a bit of protection to prevent this hopefully from happening.

I used a wire guide command strip and a piece of filter floss. Let’s see how long this will last. May have to glue it on (the wire guide).

I will keep you posted on how it works. May help others in the same boat I hope. 73515F4E-FCFF-47C5-B86C-D4BDBA3D6370.jpeg.0126f30443ab8904e62852bac584607d.jpegD189EF5D-E68E-4768-B2DA-28124DD09469.jpeg.55d5c5113ebf943a2020dc3923e2043a.jpeg

I would seal it. Filter will work better as well. I have a thread in the experiments section of you're interested in checking out the how to.

Definitely will have a look. Thanks.

Sorry for your loss 😢

No need to feel sorrow. He survived but just by a bit.  He’s good took a minute of floating on surface before he got back to solid ground poor guy.
