Largely Algae free….

At least for the moment this morning…

I am very pleased with the good work my American Flag Fish are doing at eating Algae growing on my plants

When I see bits of Algae growing on the usual dwarf sag, val, Wisteria, and Scarlet Temple leaves, I hold off on adding food to the tank for the day.

the next morning everything has been tidied up spic and span.

I reward everybody in the tank with a nice helping of hatched Baby Brine Shrimp…

29 gallon tank. 1 male and 3 females Flag Fish.

I think I shall name them.  Hoover, Kirby, Electrolux, and Miele.

No Shark?

I just googled American Flag Fish.  They recommend "aquarium should be at least 48 inches and take up to 10 gallons of water..."  I would call that a puddle.

I like your way better.  I'm off to the LFS.

That's awesome. Scarlet Temple always has issues like that for me. Glad you're getting things to thrive for you!

Well, it is pretty much Algae free, but I wouldn't exactly say it is thriving…. It is surviving…

this weekend I plan on installing the CO2 system.  We will see how it responds to that.
