MichelleN
How do you keep your fish alive on such a long drive home? I'm guessing a much larger bag and oxygen dose than with my quick 10-15 minute drives. Look for the low-light easy plants (use the filters) from the Co-op and you'll do fine with plants. The ones I ordered were gorgeous on arrival and doing well.
Eric W-Farmhouse Fish Room
Welcome to the forum! I understand what its like to live a long way from fish stores. Takes some extra effort, but road trips are always fun anyway, right? I don't expect you'll regret switching to live plants. They really add some next level fun to the hobby and make for beautiful, more natural aquariums. Good luck!

Keep in mind fish often travel for days from the other side of the world before they're available at your local fish seller. I'm also sure they get handled kind of rough along the way. A 1-2 hour drive should not be an issue so long as the fish are healthy and handled properly. DemonHunter77
I'm from West Virginia as well. Just outside of Charleston. Where do you go in Ohio to get fish? I'm relatively new to fish keeping and am looking for places to check out.
