Nerite snail care

I’m new Nerite snail care. Do these guys need some wondershell to support shell growth or is this normal? I have an algae issue they’re doing a WONDERFUL job with. I just want to make sure I’m supporting them.  Thanks!

Normally when snail shells turn white in places and start to crack it means theres a calcium deficiency. Wondershell has calcium but I’ve also found dropping crushed egg shells or Tums in the water also really helps without really altering the water parameters much. If you wanted to use wondershell I would say it depends what kind of fish you have in your tanks.
