The "fun times" are when you have to beg the adults to move the car..... Or else. I can try to hit the net, but can't promise what the other kids do. 😂 On 12/17/2023 at 3:52 AM, Chick-In-Of-TheSea said: You didn’t go to the hospital right away?! Didn't hurt sitting there. Definitely broken.

TheSwissAquarist
It’s been a whole 2 weeks - hi! New year, new goals: get a saltwater tank up and running, breed tetras successfully, and eradicate duckweed (not very realistic 😏). It also turns out that falling down stairs with a bust arm can result in a torn ligament…🤕 New angels for a future breeding project arrived from one of the biggest breeders in my Local Club. Just a mix & match of blushing, black, wild, gold, and koi. Hopefully there’ll be some good crosses out of that lot! Also btw one of my BNPs is a terrible dad…is it possible to make a DIY egg-tumbler? Happy new year from Gretel 🫠 1

So sorry. So I guess water changes are further complicated.. sheesh.. get well soon! On the plus side, you and Polo both have fun leg stories to tell in the future. I use one of the metal mesh coffee filters set inside some styrofoam for other eggs. My dad is a fabulous dad. You can cut up a soda bottle and make an actual tumbler. There are YouTube videos on how.
TheSwissAquarist
Good times… 🥹 My Xmas present from my grandparents came! It’s a 47 liter aquarium (10 ish gal) meant for saltwater or fresh…it’s got a more aesthetic feel to it, so I’m tempted to use it for marine… what are your thoughts?!

There's a "newbie reefer" series on youtube that's easy to follow and fun. I would love to see some coral. Chasing Coral is a really wonderful film and speaks to hobbyist efforts like NANF/CITES species and the other species program where hobbyists are trying to breed fish that are endangered or lost in the wild. 10G is a little tight for salt, so just think on it and enjoy the phase of endless possibilities that you're in.
TheSwissAquarist
@Chick-In-Of-TheSea your garlic Ich remedy works like a charm (get a patent!): this guy had about 20 cysts on him yesterday. 1

TheSwissAquarist
I’m boooooored of sitting around watching fish all day! Time for a new tank 😈. On my way back from the hospital I stopped by a saltie LFS to see what I could put in a marine tank… Corals cool, don’t get me wrong, but plants have something more uniform and natural (and cheaper!!!) about them…we’ll see where this goes. My latest short on YouTube: I found the term ‘Lifelapse’ kinda fitting : lifetime+ Timelapse. Have a nice day! 1
