duckweed remover

this is another trick i use to remove duckweed. just cut to size and then you just skim off the duckweed while fish or snails slide back into tank. works perfectly and allows you to use the duckweed to get rid of nitrates etc and then get rid of it easily.

I would like to get rid of duckweed and historically the problem has been that whatever takes out duckweed also takes out fry, so I have to be cautious, but I'm reaching the end of having fry in two of my tanks so I will definitely try this method once all the fish in the tanks are too large to go unnoticed if they get scooped up.
