Brenden Mitchell
I don't know if this counts as a disease but it sure feels like one. Does anyone know what this is? I have a video of it, these are screenshots from the video. It's very fast, and seems to stay on the substrate. I spooked it and it hid underneath the nearest object. Flumpweesel
Looks like insect larvae to me my guess would be mayfly larvae but the image isn't clear. Mayfly larvae eat algae so shouldn't do you any harm. Try and get some better pics though so we can be sure. Some larvae is not so friendly. TOtrees
Looks like a large scud. Very benign in aquarium. Google “aquarium scuds” for more info. 1
