Zzsharks
hi-I have a fluval flex tank and want to put neon tetra in it. Once I had some ember tetra in a quarantine tank and it had a tetra brand filter and they got sucked up! RIP. I am worried that the neon tetra will get sucked up in my fuval flex. BTW I solved the problem with the quarantine tank.( Gave it to my bother who put a beta in it. and I got a new one) I put some black form on the filter but I am still worried. CrashBandit05
I have a Flex 9gal. Kept neons first with no issue and now have a small school of harlequin rasboras. As long as you keep the foam filter in the middle compartment, and keep the small piece of foam inside the front of the mechanic pump, you shouldn't have issues. Both sponge filters have to be periodically cleaned and taking apart the mechanical pump to access that tiny piece of foam can be a pain, especially with wet hands.
