JoeQ
Anyone with any good advice for removing or softening a scratch on the outside of an acrylic aquarium?
TheSwissAquarist
I have heard that sanding is supposed to work, but I seriously doubt that.
xXInkedPhoenixX
There are 2 things I have in my house I would try if the scratch isn't super deep. Wenol (most sites say metal polish but I've used it on plastics of all sorts as it was a known trick and it worked great- since it's multipurpose it's always in my house- it's non abrasive). You can also try a decent automotive hand polisher- I use Adam's Hand Polish- while I haven't used it on anything household it's worked miracles on all parts of my cars. Janoš Bećar Pecaroš
Toothpaste is a fine polisher too. If the scratch is small enough it might work.
Pepere
I would bet a headlight repair kit would do a dandy job.
