Mottled albino cory..?

Hi fellow fish nerds!

In an LFS I came across this weird looking cory, see picture below.

It looks to be an albino C. aeneus but with a mottled pattern on top, so to speak. Have any of you seen this before in corydoras? 😮

Makes me wonder: could the mechanism behind this be comparable to what we see in the genetics of goldfish? Goldfish generally can be classified as being metallic (= shiny scales), matte, or nacreous, which is a mosaic of metallic and matte. I wonder if the same thing could be going on with this cory.

I must say I'm tempted to buy it. 😄
