Repashy powder

Hey all, making “artificial snails” for my puffer with oyster shells and repashy powder caused me to wonder if you can use too much powder at once?

How do you mean use to much? Are you worried about making to big of a batch at once?

I followed the instructions 1 TBSP to 2 TBSP water it wasn’t enough so I did it a bunch more times, can a fish overdose on repashy? Lol

It should be 1 part powder to 2-3 parts water depending on how thick you want the repashy

My pleco kids eat tons of repashy. It’s a great food imo. I think the only overdose might be pleasantly plump to pudgy fish if you fed to much.

I think you’ve got the repashy recipe right, are you saying your puffers are getting through it too fast so you’re adding more food to the tank?

I’m merely an internet expert on this, not a personal experience expert: I think that your idea is a good one, if you are looking to replace the nutritional aspect of snails, but I don’t think it will provide the same tooth management benefits.
