Hubby cut the pineapple different so I’m not certain this one will grow.
I decided I’m going to switch things up. I need emergents that the roots won’t block sun in the new tank so I’m thinking I might move some bamboo to the new tank.  I am going to replace it with sweet potato plants. It takes a month to get the roots to grow and slips (leaved shoots) to develop. Then you need to root the slips.  Each potato develops between 10-20 slips. Each it’s own plant.

I did these bout 20 years ago. They are also nitrate hogs. Think of a really fast growing pothos.

Nervous wreck today. I shipped 2 sets of snails and a pleco baby yesterday and as usual sleep was sketchy. It warms my heart to share my kids with forum friends and I know they will be loved like family so that makes the anxiety tolerable.  I still have a few pleco babies ready for new homes and some CPD fry and of course guppy babies 🤣 no one has reached out to me about. Hopefully they will find homes with friends also.

Today will be sleepless also since my two new surprise fish get shipped today. They are being overnighted from only 2 hours from me so hopefully their journey won’t be to stressful.

Happy adventures kids. Be good for your new families.

I would be so nervous too!  Do you do the styrofoam cooler w/ ice pack + bubble wrap & newspaper inside a shipping box?

What kind of pleco do you raise?  Sorry if it's posted within the 55 pages, LOL.

Longfin lemon blue eyed plecos. I bought my initial ones as Julie’s. They grew up to be a breeding pair. I have two of their kids that are also a breeding pair.

@Guppysnail Just wanted to let you know I'm still here reading everything, even though I'm not taking the time to comment as much lately. I'm looking forward to seeing how all your new critters settle in.

I understand that completely. I’ve been busy and hubby has been taking extra days off so I don’t have as much quality forum time.
However…

Football season started so lots and lots of fish and forum time. 🤣
