asondhi
Found one of my Hatchet fish presenting w/ the following. It's acting total normal and no other fish seem to have any lice that I can see. Per my Google searches it appears to be a water slater or similar lice-like parasite. I've isolated the Hatchetfish and am preparing a salt bath but am wondering what my options are for the entire tank? It's a 75g with numerous fish and lots of decor so I will likely need to treat the whole tank to kill any eggs. All fish were quarantined w/ the recommended trio- I am reaching out to my LFS to give them the heads up to check their stock just in case. Any other steps to take? Colu
You can treat the main tank with Hikari cyropro that treats anchor worms and fish lice and I would add a small amount of aquarium salt 1 table for 3 gallons as the tissue damage caused by the fish lice can cause secondary bacteria infection @asondhi

Cyropro is ordered and 25Tbsp salt going into tank. Thank you for the quick reply.
