Henry the fish keeper
Hello everyone! I breed guppies and my tank has 2 adult female guppies, 1 juvenile male guppy, and 5 baby guppies. Is my tank overstocked? Edit: I also forgot to mention that the tank I breed them in is ten gallons. AnotherHumanPerson
Just as long as you sell/give away all if not most babies once they are adults, and you keep Ammonia, Nitrates, and Nitrites low, you should be good. That being said, you should try and upgrade them if you can.

I will start selling them or upgrading the tank when I need to.
rockfisher
I agree @AnotherHumanPersonthe more you have the more water changes and maintenance. At some point you may get tried of all the babies and may either switch to one sex or in an indoor pond like Dean did in one of Corys videos. That’s actually what I breed mine to sell in. Good luck.
