Kess002 Posted September 15, 2022 Share Posted September 15, 2022 Tank is about 6 weeks old. I’ve notice this white slime growing on this fake wood that grows plants. I forget name of it but it is from petco that started like green fuzz that grew cute bright green leaves. But also white slime. Any thoughts? Guppysnail Posted September 15, 2022 Share Posted September 15, 2022 (edited) Totally harmless biofilm from bacteria colonizing. You can leave it or wipe it off. It harms nothing. Shrimp and snail love eating it some fish will also. Here is a piece of real spiderwood that is new I just set the tank up a few weeks ago.
