Allymcbeal1218
Hi Everyone, I was at my LFS and came across some reptile decorations that I would like to put in my tank but the LFS associate didn't recommend it unless I used some type of Epoxy. What would if and recommendations to coat decorations that are aquarium safe. Thank you in Advance
Tanked
It may be difficult to find a product stating that it is aquarium safe. This is due to a potential liability issues. Krylon Fusion is one of the most often mentioned products for aquariums. Epoxy paint is said to be safe, but it must be allowed to sit until it is thoroughly cured. It may not contain any sort of anti-mildew , fungal or any other special additives. Here is one source of information. https://aquariumsphere.com/paint-not-toxic-to-aquarium-fish/#Paint_for_Other_Materials_and_Surfaces
