Guppysnail
Does anyone see a problem with doing this? My fish are all micro predators, foragers and worm hunters. I can seldom find detritus worms anywhere other than in my shrimp and snail tanks but only when I don’t have fry in them. My thoughts are if I use a bucket and seasoned sponge filter I can feed all high quality fish food and establish a nutrient dense detritus worm colony to really heavily saturate my substrate in a few tanks. Hoping they will establish a good colony under my UGF filters. Then the brave ones that come up can be food. This being used as live food that resides in the tank. Does anyone see a downside to this? Cleveland M
I don't see a problem unless you have a large die off when you introduce them causing an ammonia spike.
