Following Corie’s suggestion to spend time just sitting and studying your fish to see what exactly they are doing, I spent 20 minutes just sitting and studying individual species to see what they are doing. My Dwarf Gourami was actively nibbling hair algae of of a leaf. I have never seen them listed as a cleaning fish.
