venzi
Hi. What would be the recommended way to test for overall water flow? I've seen videos where something that looks like food coloring is used to see how it disperses and spreads in the tank, but don't know what product was actually used. Is there a guide/video explaining how to test for proper flow? Edited August 10, 2022 by venzi
nabokovfan87
Dosing some Ich-X might be the best way. methylene blue. etc. If you are concerned, please share a photo of the tank (top and front view) and let me know what filtration and equipment you're using.
Tanked
If you are using a HOB, adding some powdered flake food at feeding time to the effluent may show water movement. The powder tends to follow the currents longer before sinking.
