Stephen Zawacki
Hey y’all I’m about to head off to college again, and am taking a tank with me a uns 16 gallon all in one here is a pic, I was wondering what to stock it with, I have done apistos, do like them, but was wondering I want to keep it South American themed, and what are some different and unique options for that. Also something that is easy to catch since they will be traveling.
ScottieB
Nice looking tank! How about something like South American Killifish? Lots of color and behavior in a small, easy to keep package. Most will be referred to as annuals but I was just at the Killifish convention and they mentioned that those SA annuals can live several years in captivity. BradfordAquatics
Pea puffers would be fun! They're super personable and slow so you can catch them easily enough.

_Eric_
That is a really pretty scape. I’d probably just put a dozen green neon tetras in there and call it good.

anitstuk
I think that Pea Puffers and Green Neon Tetras are great because they are very hardy and probably could withstand you bringing them around. Definitely don't get any type of inverterbrate like shrimp.
