evilgenius
Hello from North West Wisconsin. I live on the tip of Lake Superior. I'm old enough to order off the Senior menu, but not old enough to retire. I'll be around, but may not be super active a lot of times and I know just enough to be dangerous. I recently joined as a member a couple of months ago. I have been in the hobby for a few years now and at one time had as many as 7 nano tanks running. I currently have 2 - 40g breeders, 1 20g aio cube and 1 29g shrimp tank. I love heavily planted - low stocked tanks. I'm also in the process of converting a corner of my basement into a "fish room".

Brandon p
Welcome. Like the tank and love the top water fish. I think so many people don’t think about that and are missing a space in the tank that fish look great in.
evilgenius
Thanks. The Red Eyed Tetra are a lot better than I knew. They were a suggestion from the girl helping at the fish store when looking for dither fish for Blue German Rams. The whole tank explodes with activity during feeding too. A "Legacy Decoration!" Perhaps something to pass on to the next generation aquarist in your family?

I'm not 100% certain what I want to do with Nancy here.

redfish
@evilgenius What substrate are you using in your tanks?
evilgenius
Fluval Stratum. It's the closest I can get to plant substrate locally. Anything else has to be shipped and it's already too expensive.
