Hello from Detroit!

Recommended Posts

Hi there fellow fishkeepers.   My name is Mike and I have been pretty much fishkeeping at some level all of my life but serious for the last 13 years or so.   I have spent the majority of my time playing in saltwater even breeding some saltwater fish.   I now play mostly now with freshwater (livebearers, african cichlids, and more) in my fish barn with about 100 tanks.  Below are some pictures, if you want see you check out more at the Fish Tank Barn YouTube channel.

Breeding clownfish! So cool. They look just like a pair of dwarf cichlids breeding.

Thanks Daniel.  Clownfish do spawn in a similar fashion.  Howerver, the parents do not raise the fry and the fry are smaller and require smaller foods.

Nice to see fellow Michigander in here 🙂

Love the idea of a fish barn, it looks great! I am guessing it is insulated?

I will definitely be checking out your channel!

Oh yeah!   It's insulated and heated and Air Conditioned.  Having an outside building in the north has its advantages and challenges.  Thanks for checking out the channel.
