Ziss brine shrimp hatchery Heater

Hey hey fishy folks. So I’ve had the brine shrimp Hatcher for some time. But still not getting a good hatch rate. I think it’s my heater as I had a cheap tetra heater in it to seal the top. My question is what is the best heater y’all have found to go with the hatchery??

If you have a lamp with like a 60 watt light bulb sitting around those work amazing to heat it.  Here’s what I use.

No I don’t have one of those 🥴 I use the heater to close the hole in center of lid.

Do you seal the big hole in your lid?

I use the Cobalt 5 watt heater in my Ziss Hatchery. Works well.

I have a cheap freesea heater off amazon. I woudnt trust it with fish, but for a hatchery it works great. Low cost cheaper = low risk usage of it.

I use one of the tetra 2-10 gallon pre-set heaters, but honestly I’m seriously considering popping one of the aquarium co-op ones in there and seeing how it goes. My hatches are taking 48 hours and I’m wondering if I add a bit more controlled heat if it will help.

Same issue here. Hence why I thought about switching.
