Solstice_Lacer
Does the minnow top center look pregnant? It's acting normal like all the others but seems chubby. I've had them about 5 weeks now. Edited June 27, 2022 by Solstice_Lacer

But they don’t box up like female Guppies do. Edited June 27, 2022 by Fish Folk 1
Solstice_Lacer
I guess "gravid" is the correct term, rather than "pregnant"?
CT_
if so, get ready to have 500 while clouds
PineSong
I have 5 white clouds and two of them look like this, and have looked that way since they were fully grown. I've never seen eggs and never had fry. Not sure whether other fish are eating the eggs or fry or whether there just are not any, but either way, the chubby ladies seem fine and I'm not overrun with white clouds.
DavidMoss
How is your tank set up? I have a 14g cube outside with 1 male and 3 females with a lot of guppy grass and large black round river rocks on bottom half and doing filter on the other side on crushed coral and they are breeding well outside.
drewzero1
A few of mine have always looked like that, at least since maturity. Everything I've read suggests those are females carying eggs. I started with 6 in 2020 and they had a bunch of fry last summer. Lost a few adults and a few fry made it to adulthood, so now I have 7. If they spawn again this summer I'm hoping to increase the survival rate, but I'm not too concerned about being overrun.
Solstice_Lacer
My tank is pretty heavily planted with hornwort and dwarf sag and other things, so hopefully I get some fry surviving. If I get a lot I'm pretty sure I can work something out with my lfs
